Robin Hansen Interment Ceremony
Thursday, August 3rd at 3:00pm
Arlington National Cemetary

We have been asked by Curt Dansby, President, 356 Registry, if some of our POG membership could participate with their 356s in the interment ceremony of longtime 356 Registry member and 356 enthusiast Robin Hansen at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, August 3rd at 3:00PM (1500 hours).  Curt was contacted by Robin Hansen's grandson, Chris Speirs, who is now the owner of his grandfather's 356 B cab.  Although it's likely that most of our membership never met Robin, it would be terrific if we could have a number of 356s in attendance at the ceremony to recognize his service to the 356 Registry and to our country (he was a WWII fighter pilot). An article about Robin Hansen's accomplished life written by Chuck House for the Registry magazine can be found here. Details on the interment ceremony are here.

Responding to a separate email, a couple POG members, plus our friend, John Harvey, have already said that they will attend.  We would appreciate several more.  After you read about Robin and the details of the ceremony, you may RSVP to Sandy Kemper ("will attend" replies only, please).
