TECH & TALK SESSION at Tim Berardelli’s

4950A Eisenhower Ave

Alexandria, Virginia 22304

703-461-3436

Sunday, March 4, 2012

Inclement Weather Date: March 11

10:00AM-2:00PM

As we have done for many years, we will hold a technical session early in the year, just before the warm weather driving season. For this session, we expect to make it conversational and casual. There may be a couple presentations by our technical experts. But we want to make sure that this is a session for your questions, answers and general car talk. We’ll start at 10:00AM and continue until about 2:00 PM.

As usual, coffee and donuts will be available at 10:00 AM. Later, if the consensus is that lunch is warranted, we will consider a pizza or sub sandwich run.

The address for Tim Berardelli’s shop is: 4950A Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia and the telephone number at the shop is 703-461-3436.  See the location on Mapquest or Google Maps.

Tim’s shop is easy to reach from the Beltway (I-495), using either Exit 173 or Exit 174 to reach Eisenhower Avenue, which is north of the beltway.  If you use Exit 173 (Van Dorn Street, “Franconia”), turn left at the top of the exit ramp and go north on Van Dorn Street.  This is a steep downhill.  Go under the Beltway, then under the railroad tracks and take a right on Eisenhower Ave (which is the first right turn).  If you use Exit 174 (Eisenhower Avenue Cutoff), go north on the Connector, under 495, then turn left on Eisenhower Ave.  Turn into the driveway at 4926-4956 at the sign that reads “Build America 6.”  Number 4950A is in the building that is perpendicular to Eisenhower Avenue.  From the street, Tim’s door is under the third (3rd) orange colored awning.

Park wherever you can find a vacant space (including the parking spaces in the front of the building facing Eisenhower Ave).

Please note that this session is not recommended for children. An auto shop environment has inherent dangers. For their safety, keep the kids home. Thanks.
