After our Pope-Leighey House Tour and Brunch, our next 2013 Potomac 356 Owners Group event will be held on Sunday, April 28th. This will be a Dine and Drive starting with a brunch at The Grille at Peerce’s in Phoenix, Maryland, followed by a scenic drive in a part of the Greater Baltimore Area countryside that most POG members haven’t driven before. Jan Borchardt and Allen Gunzelman have arranged for this unique event for us.

The Grille at Peerce’s
is located on Dulaney Valley Road, just a few miles north of Towson, Maryland. The Grille at Peerce’s is housed in a Revolutionary War-era plantation, offering stunning views of the lake at Loch Raven Reservoir. We suggest that you plan to arrive around 10:00am so that we can “line-up” our cars in the parking lot. Brunch will begin at 10:30am.

Come for a meal steeped in history and culinary delight, with a brunch menu featuring the B.L.T. Salad, Crab and Asparagus Omelet and Smoked Salmon Plate. To view their entire brunch menu, see:

After our brunch, Allen and Jan will lead us on a drive on some picturesque Porsche roads in Baltimore County and its environs.

To get to
The Grille at Peerce’s from the South, find your way to I-695 / Baltimore Beltway towards Towson. Take the MD-146 N / Dulaney Valley Rd exit, Exit 27B. Travel Dulaney Valley Rd for about four miles as it passes Old Bailey Rd (on the left) Dulaney Valley Rd bends right. After you cross the Loch Raven Reservoir, turn slightly right to stay on Dulaney Valley Rd at the intersection where MD-146 turns left and becomes Jarrettsville Pike. Continue to follow Dulaney Valley Rd for about 1½ miles. Stay on Dulaney Valley Rd. The Grille at Peerce’s will be on the left, just past the Towson Country Club. (If you will be traveling from other directions, please check your favorite map or mapping software for the best route from your home.)
