Rockville Antique & Classic Car Show

Rockville Civic Center Park

603 Edmonston Drive, Rockville, MD

Saturday, October 19, 2013

Make plans to drive your 356 to Rockville, Maryland on Saturday, October 19th and spend the day displaying your 356 at one of the area’s largest car shows. The Potomac 356 Owner's Group is one of the 25 area car clubs that are recognized supporters of the Rockville show. For these sponsoring car clubs, the City publishes a free ad for the car club in the program (given free to car registrants and spectators alike) and it lists the car club's name in the program, on the Rockville website and in other publicity materials. Also, all 356's, and many other Porsches too (as space allows), will be directed to "our" row on the show field, marked by a colorful banner, provided by the City, with our club’s name on it.The City of Rockville’s Antique and Classic Car Show is held on the grounds of the historic Glenview Mansion, also known as the Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive, Rockville. It’s a picturesque setting. The grounds gently slope down to a vale and upward to a tree-lined hill. From many vantage points on the mansion side or the opposing hill, one can view more than 500 antique and classic automobiles. It’s a terrific sight for an auto enthusiast.

The show field opens to show cars at 8:30am. Registration is $20. Registration closes at 11:00am. A registration form is posted on the Rockville website, but it’s too late to mail the form and payment. Just complete the form, making sure to note Potomac 356 Owners Group on the “Car Club Affiliation” line, bring it with you and pay at the gate.

If you don’t want to “show” your car, general public admission is free. The show field opens to spectators at 11am. The show ends at 3:00pm. There are food vendors and a flea market area in the show area.

Directions to the Glenview Mansion, Rockville Civic Center Park can be found on the City of Rockville’s website: www.rockvillemd.gov/glenview/ or by telephone on the Directions Line at 240-314-5004.
