Welcome to the Potomac 356 Owners Group (POG) website. We are a low-key organization of Porsche 356 owners and enthusiasts based in the greater Washington DC metro area, with members from DC, Northern Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Delaware. There are no club officers. We run the activities of the club (car shows, tech sessions, driving events) by Steering Committee. We usually meet for brunch on the first Sunday of every even-numbered month (see the Events section for more details). To join POG, see details on the Member Services tab.

Tim Berardelli 2025 Tech Session
11AM 7 September 2025
Allan's Garage
3130 Winchester Road
Deleplane, VA 20144
Back by popular demand, Tim Berardelli has graciously agreed to do a session on how modern fuels are affecting our car's fuel systems and what changes need to be made to carburetor calibrations so that they run properly and efficiently on what is now called gasoline....
Of course the usual Tim horror stories on what has gone sideways due to failed fuel setups, ethonal effects on fuel lines etc... will be included!
Why attend? If you are on the road outside the area and need help, or, still do your own work, it would be helpful to have some knowledge around this as the Workshop Manuals don't cover these changes/modifications....
Allen Richards has graciously offered his garage for this session. Lunch will be provided.
Please RSVP to Erik Severeid (esevereid@hotmail.com) by September 2nd.
“Gathering of the Faithful”
Sunday, September 21, 2025
Silo Falls Restaurant
19501 Georgia Ave
Brookeville, MD 20833
Starting in 1994, “faithful” owners of 356s and other Porsche’s have gathered for a fabulous car show. This year will be no exception. It’s time to get your 356, 911,912 or other air-cooled (preferably) Porsche ready for a day at the Silo Falls Restaurant on Sunday, September 21st, celebrating the annual “Gathering of the Faithful”. This event is organized by the Concours leadership of PCA-Potomac. Registration and more information will be available on August 10.
Silo Falls is a “historic mansion that has been transformed into an upscale casual dining establishment and event space.” Numerous car clubs and auto restoration service providers have held events at Silo Falls. It is located north of Olney, Maryland where the Montgomery County suburbs recede into more rural surroundings.
September 21st is also “Drive Your 356 Day.” This event is a celebration by members of the 356 Registry to get out and drive their 356s on the Sunday closest to Ferry Porsche’s birthday. So, driving to the GOTF will be an excellent opportunity to participate and “drive your 356.”
